Vehicle Design

Idea Transport

Experimentations and projections

This final project is inspired by the phenomenon of human perception and the fact that, without changing the world physically, our image of it can change. I am applying this principle to vehicle design. Plato says the human world culture is spread between the natural world and the world of ideas.

I am translating this philosophical concept into formal language by creating naturally shaped forms and projecting geometry (a formal representation of an ideal world) on top of them. I use these forms as 3D sketches.

With the use of LED technology, this vehicle gives a driver the freedom to change the character of the shape without changing it physically.
