2012 marks the 175th anniversary of the Royal College of Art – the world’s oldest university of art and design in continuous operation, and the only art and design school operating exclusively at postgraduate level. Founded in 1837, the institution remains one of the most influential voices in international contemporary art and design.

Show RCA 2012 is divided across the RCA’s two campuses: the School of Design’s programmes of Design Interactions and Design Products with the School of Fine Art in Battersea; and the Schools of Architecture, Communication, Humanities and Material with the School of Design’s Innovation Design Engineering and Vehicle Design programmes in Kensington.

The RCA fosters experimentation and research, accelerating highly creative individuals and encouraging innovation. Show RCA 2012 presents these outcomes, showcasing work by our graduating Master’s degree, MPhil and PhD students.
